Glossary:

Humectant - meaning 'moisture attracting and retaining'

Antimicrobial - destroys and/or prevents the development of bacteria, therefore having natural deodorising properties

Antioxidant - prevents the breakdown of good properties by oxygen, e.g. when cut apple is exposed to oxygen in air, it goes brown - this is an example of oxidisation

Exfoliator - gently removes dead skin cells to reveal new skin and a brighter complexion
